Our Goals

We agree wholeheartedly with Rick Brentlinger’s reasons for writing his book, and we share his motivations in creating this site.

Who is the audience for this site?

We have created this website for LGBT+ people who grew up in religious homes and are seeking confirmation that God loves them and accepts them as they are—as He created them to be. We also invite their parents, extended families and friends and all religious people who have a desire to learn the truth and who want to be a greater blessing to LGBT+ people. And of course we welcome LGBT+ people who have developed a genuine curiosity about God and Jesus and the Bible.

What are our goals?

With a genuine desire to be obedient servants of Jesus, we seek to provide hope and encouragement and love to a group of people who most often have experienced hatred and rejection from those who claim to serve God. We want all LGBT+ people to be assured that God does not hate you or your loving relationships. In this regard, we strive to continue Rick’s ministry and to keep alive his research and his message. Above all, we hope that this site will lead all of its readers to a saving knowledge of Jesus.
