About Rick Brentlinger

Richard G. Brentlinger (1950–2024) was the author of the book Gay Christian 101, from which he derived the original gaychristian101.com website. Unfortunately for us, he left this world in 2024 and went home to be with his Creator. His family always had a hateful view toward Rick’s sexuality and his ministry to the homosexual community, so they subsequently deleted his website and ceased publication of his book.

What Rick believed

1. I believe in the plenary, verbal inspiration and infallible authority of scripture.

2. I believe every word of scripture, from the first In in Genesis to the last Amen in Revelation.

3. I believe the human race, fallen in Adam, is lost and without hope, apart from God’s saving grace in Jesus Christ.

4. I believe the holiness, love and mercy of God caused Him to redeem us through the blood of Jesus Christ, giving us hope.

5. I believe Jesus Christ was God in the flesh, the way, the truth and the life, the only way to God the Father.

6. I believe Jesus Christ resurrected physically, bodily, through the power of God and ascended to heaven where He alone is our heavenly Mediator.

7. I believe God offers salvation through Jesus Christ, as a free gift, to everyone who will receive it in this life.
